Good questions, plain answers.
The practical bits about planning with Simon and how the weekly offers work, before you pick up the phone.
How do I start planning a trip with Simon?
Email or call him. There’s no form to fill in and no booking engine. A destination or idea, rough dates, who’s travelling and a budget range is plenty to begin, and exact dates can wait.
What to include in your first messageWill I be dealing with Simon himself?
Yes. Every enquiry reaches Simon directly, by email at Simon@simonjamestravel.com or by phone at +1 877 523 7823 ext. 482. He’s your one advisor before, during and after the trip. No mystery queue.
Who does Simon plan travel for?
Individuals, couples, families and groups. Plenty of trips start with an interest rather than a place: food and wine, sport, music, photography, exploration or simply a very good room.
Ways to travelWhat are Best Bets, and how often do they change?
They’re current offers from Travel Best Bets, shown here up to six at a time and refreshed automatically as the feed changes, usually weekly. The offer wording comes from Travel Best Bets, not from Simon’s own travel notes.
Can I book a Best Bet online, and is the price final?
Nothing here is bookable online. Prices are advertised in Canadian dollars per person based on double occupancy unless stated otherwise, for new bookings only. Availability, supplier conditions, taxes and fees are confirmed by Simon before anything is booked, so use Book now on any offer and he’ll check the current details.
What if the trip I want isn’t in this week’s offers?
That describes most trips. The Best Bets are a sample, not the whole menu. Simon can plan travel worldwide, so bring him the place, the occasion or the half-formed idea.
How is Simon James Travel connected to Travel Best Bets?
Simon James Travel is a Travel Best Bets Connected Agent. Travel Best Bets brings the reach of a very strong network. Simon brings the knowledge and experience, and he’s the only person you need to call.
Which licence does Simon James Travel operate under?
Simon James Travel is a Travel Best Bets Connected Agent and operates under Travel Best Bets’ British Columbia licence, BPCPA #3287.
